Benefits of Employment 
The following benefits are available to salaried full-time employees:

  • Four weeks vacation after one full year of employment.
  • Three weeks sick leave after one full year of employment. (which can be accumulated)
  • Nine paid holidays per calendar year.
  • 56 hours of paid personal leave per fiscal year.
  • Membership in the Maryland State Teachers’ Pension System OR the Baltimore County Employees' Retirement System (dependent on position).
  • Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
  • Annual merit increments for satisfactory service, up to the pay grade maximum.
