CELEBRATION

n order to maintain an Educational Partnership, it is important to recognize and to celebrate the contributions of all parties throughout the year.

More detailed information about the partnership, including mission, visions, and objectives, can be communicated through the various school publications which are distributed to the staff and the community. A bulletin board located near the school entrance and Back-to-School Night can be used to highlight partnerships.

Ongoing activities might include:

  • Invitations to major school functions
  • Personal notes from staff and students including birthday remembrances

Culminating activities/festivities might include:

  • Invitations to volunteer luncheons or teas
  • Invitations to award nights and county-wide partnership celebrations
  • Nominations for volunteer awards.
