| JOB SHADOWING OPPORTUNITIES | All 5th grade students go on one or two small group trips to area businesses. The business partners (20) provide hands-on activities, employee interaction, and oftentimes lunch. Students use a clipboard to write answers to job shadowing questions. Information is later shared during class meetings. |
| PARTNERSHIP W/SOLLERS POINT SOUTHEASTERN TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL | All 5th grade students tour the school to promote career awareness. In addition, instructors from the school serve as Career Day presenters. |
| FIELD TRIPS TO AREA BUSINESSES | Field trips are taken to various locations in which tour guides highlight various career/job opportunities
