Principals and faculties, new to Educational Partnerships, should contact the Office of Career Connections for the staff development.

School based
committee

 
The school principal appoints a school-based
committee.

Identifying
business
resources

 
The committee identifies applicable business resources.

Contact
businesses

 
Members from the committee contact businesses for partnership opportunities.

Meeting between
partners

 
The school committee arranges a meeting between partners to explore mutual benefits.

Establish the
vision

  Several meeting may be necessary to establish the vision, mission, and objectives of the partnership-a major focus of the partnership should be career awareness activities.

Ceremony and
press release

 
An Educational Partnership signing ceremony and press release are arranged by personnel from the Office of Career Connections.

End-of-year
evaluation

 
An end-of-year evaluation is conducted by both partners. A copy of the evaluation is forwarded to the Office of Career Connections.
